Tempering

Tempered glass KLER-D 21

What is tempered glass?

Tempered glass, also known as toughened glass, is specially processed glass with increased mechanical strength and resistance to thermal loads. At KLER-D 21 EOOD, tempering is performed after completion of all preliminary processing - such as cutting, edging, drilling holes or etching - using a high-tech furnace of the latest generation, guaranteeing precise process control and excellent results.

Advantages of tempered glass from KLER-D 21

One of the main advantages of tempered glass is safety - when broken, it disintegrates into small non-sharp fragments that significantly reduce the risk of injury. Thanks to its characteristics, it is ideal for applications with increased safety requirements: facades, shower cabins, showcases, parapets, doors, floor elements and office partitions, as well as for residential, public and industrial buildings. At KLER-D 21 we offer certified tempered glass that combines high resistance, functionality and modern vision - in full compliance with European safety standards.

Reinforced glass for safety and durability

Tempered glass offered by KLER-D 21 undergoes a special thermal process that significantly increases its mechanical strength and resistance to thermal shock. This makes it a preferred choice for projects where safety, durability and aesthetics are of key importance.

The process involves heating the glass to over 600°C, followed by rapid and uniform cooling with air. As a result, the glass acquires up to 5-6 times greater strength compared to ordinary (float) glass.

Applications of tempered glass produced by KLER-D 21

Drilling with us is adapted to the requirements of modern architecture and interior design, where glass must be not only beautiful but also technically finished. This enables architects, designers and manufacturers to realize innovative, clean constructions, without visible fastening elements, with a high level of aesthetics and functionality.
